toys

When a child is playing with his toys around the house it is very obvious who has the main acting part in his games and, naturally, all your attention is focused there.

But just wait until he goes to school in the mornings or falls asleep at night and you will see how all the toys start to have their own life and their own conversations, very serious and very grown up. And once you have realised that, all you need to do is to catch them on act and if possible, to pin up their dialogue.

Another thing: the  child should never see his toys "out of duty", as here; it could lead to his acknowledging that there is no Santa (either).
